Job Overview:

Job Purpose/Authority Statement

The Job Title listed empowers the Incumbent with the authority to execute all duties and responsibility listed below. In the event of a conflict of authority, the Incumbent shall elevate to direct supervisor for resolution.


Duties and Responsibilities                      

  • Prepare and maintain standard product schedule
  • Prepare and maintain custom product schedule
  • Maintain open communication with sales concerning delivery of customer units
  • Run Gant chart on custom jobs to determine Engineering release date and production start date
  • Produce special order parts list for all custom units
  • Maintain communication with purchasing department for all purchased inventory
  • Attend daily Industrial production meeting.
  • Attend weekly Industrial production meeting.
  • Copy and distribute production schedules.
  • Copy and distribute open W/O status schedules.
  • Analyze open W/O report and communicate with foremen of status
  • Review inventory levels and open W/O's for Industrial sub-assemblies
  • Review inventory levels and open W/O's for Industrial fabricated parts
  • Review inventory levels and open W/O's for Industrial service stock
  • Help answer questions and direct employees
  • Maintain hazardous waste documentation for paint booth
  • Review, adjust if needed and distribute standard product work orders to production
  • Review and distribute custom product work orders to production
  • Filing of completed work orders
  • Prepare on time delivery analysis
  • Presents and facilitates process improvement projects as assigned


Qualifications

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • 1-5 years' experience of administration, scheduling, inventory, purchasing or production in manufacturing industry
  • Must be detailed-oriented and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
  • Experience in supply chain or operations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience in ERP and MRP systems is preferred


Working Conditions

Mostly stationary work with occasional movement throughout the facility to access files, chambers, office machinery, etc. Works at a desk and a computer screen for extended periods of time. Employee must be able to manually enter data to the computer system and understand the screen and images that appear. Frequently lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Use of hands to hold, lift and handle materials. Occasional climbing, bending and squatting. Periodic travel may be involved. When traveling, significant portions of travel time (both car and air) may involve extended sedentary periods. Subject to weather and adverse driving conditions when outside.
