Job Description

You will serve as a Production, Planning & Control (PP&C) Manager responsible for production execution within assigned areas at the Camden site. This role owns planning and execution outcomes, ensures alignment with site objectives, and leads a team of managers, supervisors, and individual contributors accountable for day-to-day operational performance.

This role operates within the PP&C organization in Camden, AR and reports to the PP&C Senior Manager.

This posting will be used to fill multiple PP&C Manager positions. Area assignments will be determined based on individual strengths and site needs.

What You Will Be Doing


As the PP&C Manager you will provide strategic direction within their area while maintaining hands-on leadership over execution, staffing, and readiness to support manufacturing programs, some with significantly increasing production rates. This role is accountable for delivering results in a dynamic environment while developing leaders and team members.

Primary areas of focus include:
• Leading, staffing, and developing a high-performing PP&C team, including rigorous performance management through proactive coaching, recognition of top contributors, and timely disciplinary actions to uphold accountability and drive results
• Ensuring appropriate staffing levels, cross-training, and bench strength to support current operations and anticipated rate increases
• Owning production execution outcomes within assigned scope, including material readiness, scheduling effectiveness, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence
• Planning and managing future capital and overhead requirements based on rate ramps, production demand, and program needs
• Driving disciplined execution across PP&C functions, including:
○ Warehousing optimization and material flow efficiency
○ Inventory accuracy and control
○ Physical and system-based material movements
○ Ordnance logistics management
○ Production order management and line scheduling
○ Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
○ DD250 processing for final product
• Partnering with manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and program teams to resolve execution issues, manage risk, and improve overall performance
• Reinforcing standard work, accountability, and continuous improvement across PP&C operations

Basic Qualifications

• Direct line leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of holding teams accountable for results, developing talent, improving engagement, and addressing performance issues through coaching, performance plans, and disciplinary actions as required
• Demonstrated ability to proactively plan, prioritize, and execute in a production environment, delivering measurable improvements in operational outcomes such as schedule adherence, cost savings, inventory health, and optimized manpower planning
• Demonstrated ability to understand and manage complex, interdependent processes while balancing near-term execution with long-term operational goals
• Demonstrated capability to lead and inspire teams in fast-paced, execution-focused environments, while consistently achieving or exceeding performance targets
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and material flow, including optimization of warehousing space, to ensure objectives are met
• Strong ability to work across functional organizations and across sites to lead resolution of complex operational challenges

Desired skills

• Ordnance manufacturing or logistics experience
• Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to lead through clarity, decisiveness, and a strong personal standard of accountability
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior leadership with clear, fact-based assessments of operational performance, risks, and tradeoffs, and to drive alignment on execution priorities

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $122,000 - $211,485. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
