What You’ll Do:

UTEX Industries is seeking a Production Planner to join our Production Control team. This role is responsible for planning the manufacturing or procurement of assigned parts and materials to ensure alignment with production schedules. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to maintain efficient workflows and address potential production delays. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze MRP supply and demand in ERP systems.
• Schedule, release, and reschedule work orders as needed.
• Review and update planning parameters such as min/max levels, safety stock, and lead times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for implementation of engineering changes (ECNs).
• Consolidate demand based on product/commodity knowledge.
• Evaluate shop floor workloads and coordinate priorities.
• Maintain and apply Lean Manufacturing practices including 5S.
• Prepare and analyze production status and performance reports.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field – or equivalent planning experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in production planning.
• ERP/MRP systems proficiency is required.

Work Environment:

You’ll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel-toed footwear are required.

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
