Job Overview:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of aerospace, defense industrial, and commercial products.
- Maintains schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Creates, maintains, and closes material orders as they progress through all production sequences listed on the routing.
- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Working knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, quality basics, and engineering flows.
- Experience with capacity planning, and creating production schedules and loading into ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with export control .
- Experience modifying production schedules for increased efficiency.
- Experience tracking, reporting and presenting status reports.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrated working experience in a similar role particularly in an aerospace environment.
- CPIM and Green or Black Belt certifications is a plus.
- Computer knowledge – Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project.
- ERP Systems. (Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a plus).
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010.
