We are a leading North American fabrication and manufacturing company with operations across Canada and the United States. We provide fully integrated manufacturing and engineering services, producing steel components and complex assemblies for the agricultural, construction, mining, energy, heavy truck, and industrial sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. Reporting to the Team Lead and/or Production Supervisor, the Painter is responsible for preparing metal surfaces and applying high-quality protective and decorative coatings in an industrial paint booth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, grinding, and cleaning materials.
• Apply paint and protective coatings using spray-painting equipment.
• Operate electrostatic painting systems.
• Mask and board materials prior to painting.
• Monitor paint booth equipment, including extractors, drying fans, and heaters.
• Maintain paint booths and related equipment in safe working condition.
• Ensure paint-related waste is properly labeled, stored, and disposed of.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Meet production and performance targets.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures, including IATF and ISO 14001 standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous industrial spray-painting experience in a paint booth environment.
• Experience with electrostatic painting systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with overhead cranes is an asset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
