Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, machine-operation, or general labor experience is helpful but not required
Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Comfortable performing hands-on and physically active work
Ability to wear required PPE during designated tasks
Ability to successfully complete required medical clearance for the position
HOW YOU WILL THRIVE
Operate production equipment and complete assigned manufacturing processes
Prepare, handle, and process materials according to established procedures
Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
Complete routine cleaning and housekeeping of the production area and equipment
Perform basic quality checks and accurately document production activities
Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals
Participate in training and continuous-improvement activities
The company covers required occupational-health testing and provides required PPE.
Work Environment & Safety
Safety is an important part of this role. Some production activities involve handling materials that require specific safety precautions, including lead-containing materials.
Employees receive required safety training and company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE). A powered-air respirator is required for certain tasks but is worn only for limited periods during the shift, not throughout the entire workday.
Employees in this position also participate in an occupational-health and safety program that includes:
Pre-employment medical clearance
Required PPE and respiratory-protection training
Routine blood testing approximately every three months
Ongoing safety training and established work practices designed to support a safe working environment
The company covers required occupational-health testing and provides required PPE.
