Job Description

**Duration: 2+ months contract

Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:30am**

Operates heavy industrial equipment for assigned production department. Meets daily production goals. Cleans work area and assigned plant area at the end of the shift. Wears requires PPE and follows all safety procedures/policies. Must be able to work safely with minimal supervision. This is temp-to-hire position. Purina operates 24 hrs on three shifts Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays.

**REQUIRED:

• **Must be pass background check

**

• **Sitting, standing, walking, able to work in tight spaces, climbing stairs/ladders

**

• **Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions

**

• **Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

**

• **Visual acuity

**

• **Able to work in hot/cold/dusty environment

**

• **Beating/poking bins/digging out dies

**

• **Not afraid of working heights greater than 5 feet

**

• **Attention to detail

**

• **Basic computer and math skills

**

• **Sense of urgency

**

• **Overtime/weekends – required per business needs

**

• **Completes miscellaneous assignments from management

**

• **Forklift certified

**

• **2+ years production/manufacturing experience

**

• **High school diploma

**
