Job Summary
Seeking an Equipment Operator II to safely operate manufacturing equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, complete quality checks, and maintain accurate production records in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-speed manufacturing/industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor processes and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform required quality checks and help maintain product quality.
- Complete production, waste, delay, and quality documentation accurately.
- Follow safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
- Support housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or industrial experience, or equivalent military training.
- Basic computer skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, stair climbing, and gripping.
- Comfortable working around noise, dust, and some chemicals.
- Previous experience with manufacturing equipment, forklifts, or industrial tractors strongly preferred.
Preferred
- Basic mechanical, technical, or manufacturing skills.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment and identifying/resolving problems.
- Forklift or industrial tractor operating experience.
