Position Details:

As a member of a cross-functional team, performs semi-skilled production machine operations to assemble/fabricate vehicle windows or sub-assembly in accordance with team goals. May perform work manually and/or by machine operation which requires in-depth knowledge of process and constant monitoring. Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem solving activities. Makes machine adjustments and typically manages several variables within the process. Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned area. Maintains material movement systems and completes proper paperwork and documentation to guide operations of the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, or equivalent.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills to manage, prioritize, and deal with many issues at one time.

• Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively in a team environment.

• Demonstrated ability to operate within production and quality standards; including being able to operate/utilize all job­ related equipment. equipment may include fork-lift, hand tools, production machinery, et cetera.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Prolonged standing at least 8 hours, but up to 12 hours per day

  • Lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds multiple times per hour.

• Repetitive bending, twisting, turning, lifting.

• Repetitive use of hands, including gripping, grasping, pinching, squeezing

You should be proficient in:

• High School / GED
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
