**Responsibilities:
**
- Direct overall plant operations and utilize cost management practices to achieve profitability and meet corporate objectives.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment through proper safety procedures, training, and accident prevention programs.
- Collaborate with the Materials Manager to ensure production schedules are achieved and customer delivery requirements are met.
- Partner with the Quality Manager to maintain IATF certification, ensure customer satisfaction, and minimize scrap and customer returns.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure tooling designs support production efficiency and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to oversee equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, and capital improvement projects.
- Support the Process Manager in maintaining process documentation and ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Interface with Sales, Marketing, and customers to address operational and product-related requirements.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the setup department, including tooling management and documentation control.
- Direct production supervisors in die-casting and machining operations, establishing goals for quality, productivity, equipment utilization, and workplace safety.
- Coordinate activities among production, quality, engineering, process, maintenance, and tool room teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and address employee development and performance concerns.
- Oversee material flow activities from raw material receipt through production, shipping, and finished goods delivery.
- Apply appropriate statistical analysis tools and process control plans to support quality and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with all quality system requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant.
**Qualifications:
**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within a die-casting manufacturing operation.
- Previous leadership experience in a plant management or managerial capacity.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and plant profitability.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with IATF requirements and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
- Proficiency in using statistical tools and process control methodologies.
