In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing, blending, and mixing raw materials according to production formulas and schedules while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and production standards. What You'll Do

• Accurately weigh, add, and blend raw materials according to formulas and production schedules
• Operate mixers, conveyors, auto-fillers, metal detectors, and related production equipment
• Ensure products meet Food Safety, SQF, QA, and customer requirements
• Verify that materials, formulas, labels, tools, and equipment are prepared before production starts
• Inspect production areas to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
• Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe workplace
• Report production, quality, safety, downtime, or equipment issues to supervisors
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team communications
• Follow all company safety policies and food safety programs

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed

Preferred

• Previous food manufacturing or production experience
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Knowledge of SQF, GMP, OSHA, and food safety practices
