MIG Welder – Production Line

Location: Bridgman, MI

Position Summary

A growing manufacturing company in Bridgman is seeking a dependable and safety-focused MIG Welder to join the production team. This position is responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components in a fast-paced industrial environment while maintaining quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components and production materials

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurements

• Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting tools, and other fabrication equipment

• Inspect welded parts for quality, strength, and accuracy

• Maintain production pace while following safety and quality procedures

• Assist with material handling and assembly as needed

• Complete routine equipment checks and basic maintenance

• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience preferred

• Ability to read tape measures and basic blueprints

• Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Manufacturing or production experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion

• Ability to work in a warehouse or industrial production setting

Schedule & Environment

• Full-time production schedule

• Overtime may be required based on production demands

• Industrial manufacturing environment with required PPE
