Available Schedules: 

1st shift: Monday- Friday 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM with Possibility of overtime

2nd shift: Monday- Friday 3:00 PM- 11:00 PM with Possibility of overtime

Key Accountabilities (results expected to achieve):

  • Meet or exceed company goals for safety, quality, cost and delivery

 

Key Responsibilities (tasks that you do to achieve the accountabilities)

  • Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded
  • Issues packaging, labels, inserts, material etc. and brings them to presses or staging area
  • Remove or cover all old production and shipping labels, as needed 
  • Accurately completes all transactions within ERP system 
  • Load and unload trailers as needed
  • Forklift certified to move production, scrap, etc.
  • Inspects powered industrial vehicles per check sheets and report issues to leaders to create    MSOs
  • Cleans and performs basic preventative maintenance on equipment/loaders 
  • Documents preventative maintenance and cleaning and communicates equipment issues with supervisor
  • Notify supervisor of unsafe or broken-down equipment for a MRO to be recorded
  • Performs all other assignments as required

 

Qualities for Success:

  • 1 year of experience in Manufacturing environment 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have basic English language comprehension and reading skills
  • Must have basic computer skills and be proficient working with Microsoft products (Excel and Word)
  • Able to identify different material and non-conforming parts
  • Problem solver; able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary; sense of accountability and sound professional judgement
  • Experience managing projects
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and able to work with and direct others
  • Able to work overtime hours according to business need
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Able to multi-task and work in a moderate to fast paced environment
  • Pays close attention to details and follows directions
  • Dedicated to safe practices
  • Forklift certification (or ability to receive certificate with company training)

 

 

Physical & Mental Demands: 

  • Able to lift 55 lbs up to shoulder height daily on an on-going basis without assistance
  • Able to lift 50 lbs above head occasionally 

 

  • Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop on an on-going basis
  • Grip and hold parts and hand tools continuously (8 hours)
  • Use miscellaneous hand tools including manual, pneumatic, and powered
  • Ability to work with small parts down to a bolt size of ¼” in diameter
  • Good hand and wrist dexterity 
  • Visually inspect all parts 
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Respond to sound and light
  • Ascend/descend ladder of up to 5 feet frequently

Work Environment:

This position is often required to conduct business on the manufacturing floor.   While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk.  The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
