Interstate Group, LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor.

Supervise and support production employees to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
Set clear production goals and communicate expectations to team leaders and staff.
Monitor productivity and resource utilization to reduce downtime and enhance throughput.
Ensure optimal staffing levels and effective labor planning on a daily basis.
Review production data to identify and resolve inefficiencies or delays.
Develop and implement procedures that drive productivity, quality, and operational consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Track and report production metrics, waste reduction, and performance indicators.
Address production issues in a timely manner and escalate concerns to senior management as needed.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines, regulations, and plant policies.
Promote a culture of safety by holding employees accountable for safe behavior and enforcing safety protocols.
Support injury and near-miss reporting, investigations, and OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
Must perform other duties as assigned
To perform this role effectively, the Production Manager must possess working knowledge and understanding of the following:
Production floor layout and daily workflow expectations
Footage/units per hour production standards
2-hour, 4-hour, 6-hour, and 8-hour production lap procedures
Production scheduling from start to finish
Stretch routines and safety warm-ups with departments
Quarterly inventory counts and layout organization
Proper usage and maintenance of email communication
Scheduling and facilitation of meetings
Hiring and termination procedures, including onboarding and documentation
Use of the Employee Relations Manual
SDS (Safety Data Sheets) access and hazard communication
Expense report preparation and submission
Fire evacuation plans and location of fire extinguishers by department
Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) compliance
Forklift and Kubota driver log reviews and authorization tracking
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements per department
DEQ permit awareness and hazardous waste storage
Proper storage and usage tracking of paint, undercoat, silicone, VOCs, and HAPs
Data entry and tracking sheets for materials used (paint, undercoat, silicone, etc.)
Injury and near-miss reporting protocols
Injury investigations and OSHA compliance recordkeeping
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of production or operations management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to interpret and apply production metrics and reports.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Working knowledge of OSHA standards, LOTO, and PPE compliance.
Proficiency in organizing work schedules and optimizing production flow.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 pounds at times.
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the manufacturing area for extended periods.
Must be able to bend at the waist, kneel, and squat, walk, climb up and down ladders/scaffolding, stoop, push, pull and/or carry materials.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Must be able to work in hot or cold environments.
Must be able to work in indoor or outdoor environments.
May be exposed to welding, grinding, paint fumes, and machinery noise.
Work Hours: Monday - Thursday | 7:00am - 5:30pm with occasional Friday
Pay Rate: $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience and performance incentives
