Role Description

Our client in Des Moines is searching for an experienced production professional for an important operations role. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Supervisor with experience in handling waste. The Supervisor will oversee compliance with environmental regulations, develop and implement environmental policies, and conduct site evaluations. Key responsibilities include maintaining standards and ensuring procedures align with regulatory requirements. Strong communication will be necessary to prepare reports, work collaboratively with teams, and provide expert guidance on environmental issues.

Qualifications

• Understanding and implementation of waste removal strategies in a plant environment.
• Knowledge of Environmental Compliance and Environmental Policy
• Background in material waste management
• Strong Communication skills for collaboration and report preparation
• Attention to detail and ability to effectively manage projects. Microsoft Excel is important!
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal environmental regulations is an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
