SUMMARY: The Production Lead Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production of Belting Products to ensure customer demands are met efficiently and accurately. This role leads the production team, monitors inventory levels through cycle counts, and supports customer service by assisting with quoting, order entry, and phone inquiries. The Production Lead Supervisor plays a key role in promoting safety, maintaining high productivity, and fostering team accountability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associate consistent with Core Behaviors
• Responsible for promoting culture of safety

• Conduct daily stand-up meetings to review schedules, discuss issues, and share updates. 
• Lead and manage production staff to meet customer order demands and operational goals. 
• Cross-train team members to ensure coverage during PTO, ability to step into production, and reduce production interruptions.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and hold team members accountable for meeting performance expectations.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and promptly resolve stock discrepancies.
• Support customer service functions by quoting, entering orders, answering customer calls, and collaborating with the Customer Service Manager.
• Collaborate with suppliers and account managers to source and price product solutions.
• Proactively identify and address root cause issues through cross-functional teamwork to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and systems.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiar with all practices and procedures within a Warehouse
• Knowledge of all warehouse safety protocols and procedures

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervisory responsibility - Belt Shop personnel

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• None required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.
• Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _50_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.

PPE REQUIRED:

• Eye protection, hearing protection, foot protection with metatarsal guard, puncture proof gloves.
