Job Description

York Employment has an excellent opportunity to to join a leading food manufacturing company as a Production Lead in La Mirada. Will start out on First shift, however during peak season, from mid-May to mid-November will transition to the 2nd shift. The first shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM and the second shift is 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. (Must be flexible.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production floor operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Lead, motivate, and support production staff to meet output and quality targets
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP, and sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams as needed
• Assist with employee training, coaching, and performance management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing lead role
• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

You should be proficient in:

• Food and Beverage Manufacturing
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
