Production Team Lead

We are seeking a Production Team Lead to support operations in a cold storage warehouse and food production environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or food production who can coordinate production tasks, oversee associates, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

2nd Shift - Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM

3rd Shift - Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Environment: Refrigerated warehouse and production facility (38°F to -20°F)

Responsibilities

- Lead, coordinate, and prioritize production tasks as directed by the supervisor

- Assign and communicate daily work responsibilities to production associates

- Monitor operations to ensure safety, quality, and production standards are met

- Perform quality checks and report any issues or product failures to leadership

- Support training for new and current employees on production procedures

- Assist supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet operational goals

- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding production needs

- Complete production paperwork and escalate operational or personnel issues when needed

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED

- Ability to work in cold storage environments between 38°F and -20°F

- Ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements

- Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic math calculations

Preferences

- Previous team lead, supervisory, or training experience

- Experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, cold storage, or production environments

- Experience using warehouse management systems or inventory software

- Familiarity with safety, quality assurance, and production procedures
