Operations Lead

Summary

The Operations Lead oversees daily manufacturing operations, drives production efficiency, ensures quality standards, maintains safety compliance, and coordinates multiple departments to meet operational goals. The role serves as a bridge between management and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports.
• Manage employee scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure OSHA, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Oversee inventory control and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing or production teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA and ISO compliance standards.
• Experience with ERP/manufacturing software systems.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Inventory management and production planning experience.
