We are seeking a dependable Shingle Finishing Machine Operator. This position involves cutting and finishing roofing shingles and is seated for the majority of the shift.

Location: Lenexa, KS

Employment Type: Temp to Perm

Pay:$18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Overtime: Available as needed

Position Summary

The Shingle Finishing Machine Operator will cut shingles using a bandsaw with a provided jig and perform flame/trim finishing while following quality and safety standards.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities

• Cut shingles using a bandsaw with a provided jig
• Flame and trim finished shingles
• Inspect work for quality
• Follow all safety and production procedures
• Maintain a clean work area

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable performing repetitive production work
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for the majority of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive reaching, handling, and movement

Required PPE

Safety glasses, safety shoes, and long pants are required.
