Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Design, implement, and improve production methods, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality output. This involves everything from analyzing current processes to implementing new technologies and training staff.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

  • Process Optimization:

Developing and improving production processes, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Cost Reduction:

Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures, such as reducing waste and downtime.

  • Quality Control:

Ensuring products meet quality standards through monitoring and implementing quality control measures.

  • Equipment Management:

Determining the best equipment and its placement within the production line, as well as ensuring proper maintenance.

  • Safety Compliance:

Establishing and enforcing safety procedures and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Data Analysis:

Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and track performance.

  • Collaboration:

Working with other teams, such as engineering, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of processes.

  • Training and Support:

Providing training and support to production staff on new processes and technologies.

  • Project Management:

Managing small to medium-scale projects from conception to completion, including cost analysis and justification for new equipment.

  • Troubleshooting:

Diagnosing and resolving production issues, including human error and equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications


EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

Required:

  • 3 years + of kitchen cabinet manufacturing or engineeering knowledge.
  • Equivalent of (1) High School Diploma or G.E.D certification.
  • Minimum of 6 month of AutoCAD courses.
  • Associate’s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field.
  • Must be able to pass company Drug Screen and back ground screen.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a team environment.

  • Able to operate Cabinet Vision Software, Insight, Microsoft.
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs at various stages in the process. (Email, Cabinet Vision, Insight, Shop)
  • Capable of emailing and calling external and internal stakeholders in a respectful manner.
  • Able to interpret sales staff’s initial and revised drawings and translate information appropriately to Cabinet Vision Software.
  • Able to interact effectively, cross-functionally and with various levels within the organization
  • Able to meet department quality and production standards.
  • Excellent organization and time management skill.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily assignment deadlines.
