The Role:
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring Production History Records are completed for line production and line clearance paperwork for both, daily production and batching, is completed in a timely fashion. This position reports into the Materials group and will evolve as the business grows so the individual must be adaptable and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
What You Will Do:
- Review emails daily for urgent issues.
- Check the daily production schedule for updates and changes, including quantities and lot numbers, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
- Conduct line clearances according to established procedure. Investigate discrepancies if the numbers in SysPro do not match and resolve issues as needed.
- Review returned work orders to verify that all fields are properly filled out. Address any discrepancies with team leads/operators to ensure the documents are complete and accurate before being filed. Check labor hours to ensure they are on the sheet. If not, work with Batch Lead or Production Lead to get corrected.
- During investigations, correct inventory discrepancies and request cycle counts as needed.
- Print daily batch records for the batch room to ensure production runs smoothly and documentation is up to date.
- Submit completed paperwork/retain bottles to lab as reviewed, completed and matched with bottles.
- Run report in JeffNet to review negative bin report. Clear bins after researching discrepancy.
- Print work orders and labels as required, ensuring all necessary documents are available for production lines.
- Print labels needed for rework or as requested by the production line, particularly in cases where the print and apply machine breaks down.
- Perform verification checks of Quality paperwork.
- Participate in Safety, Quality and Inventory investigations as needed.
- Participate in Improvement Initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager to support operational needs

What You Will Bring:
- Must have good listening and interpersonal communications skills
- Must be able to effectively drive production team to meet the departmental expectations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems
