Position Summary:

 Summit Interconnect is seeking a Production Control Supervisor. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities:

1. Schedules and plans production for efficiency in response to customer needs.
2. Reviews job status to determine ship dates.
3. Expedites production lots and quick-turn jobs to meet ship dates.
4. Co-ordinates with alternate shift manager to update status of processes.
5. Allocates personnel, equipment and resources to meet production schedules.
6. Co-ordinates inventory levels of specific essential materials.

Authorities:

1. Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations during an assigned shift.
2. May assist Managers in the writing of manufacturing details and procedures.
3. May supervise operators directly or through designated lead personnel.
4. May employ disciplinary measures as specified in company handbook.
5. May assist managers in employee performance evaluation.

1. Communicate all production, quality and safety related issues to Director of Manufacturing and other shift managers/supervisor as needed.
2. Ownership of outside services and for making sure that product returns in time.

General:

1. Understanding of industry standards and appropriate application.
2. Ability to read, writes, and speaks English fluently.
3. Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management and supervisory staff.
4. Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures. 

Education/Experience:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in PCB industry in all different production areas. Preferred, but not required.
3. Must have basic mathematical and reasoning ability.
4. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands:

1. This position requires the individual to perform for the entire shift while standing.
2. Must have very good concentration and be able to remain focused with major interruptions.
