Production Control Supervisor

Job Summary

The Production Control Supervisor position will be responsible for efficient production output coordination across departments in accordance with customer demands. This position will work closely with Nidec sales, operations, engineering, finance and purchasing ensure accurate and timely manufacture of components.

The Production Control Supervisor will also be responsible for the shipping and receiving activities at the Mena facility working with Nidec internal and external customers to deliver product on time at best cost.

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervision of Shipping and Receiving Activities
  • Shop Floor Production Output Sequencing
  • Plant Contact for Nidec Customer Service
  • Daily Output Execution Reporting
  • Returned Goods Administration
  • Supervision of USMCA and Trade Compliance Activities
  • Physical inventory coordination

COMPETENCIES:

Minimum

TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • System Experiences such as MRP & Other Financial Experiences

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year college degree in Business or related field
  • Ability to work in a Team oriented setting
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four (4) year college degree in Business or related field
  • 6 mo. experience and demonstrated proficiency with integrated business systems (Oracle, Kronos, etc.)
  • Previous employment in manufacturing
