Production Control Manager

Full-Time | On-Site | Rushville, IN

A growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced** Production Control Manager** to lead production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and material flow. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, inventory accuracy, and on-time customer delivery while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning, scheduling, and inventory control activities.
• Manage WIP, cycle counts, physical inventories, and material availability.
• Optimize production flow to meet customer demand and operational goals.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to improve performance.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to support planning, reporting, and decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs including inventory turns, schedule attainment, and on-time delivery.
• Drive Lean initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead the Production Control team while promoting safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years of production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong ERP/MRP and inventory management experience.
• Background in high-volume manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Advanced Excel, analytical, and leadership skills.
