Compunnel is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support the Hardware Manufacturing Team at a leading medical and laboratory equipment manufacturing company. This role involves assembling components, following established work instructions, executing production plans, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Perform assembly and manufacturing tasks according to established work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering drawings.
Execute daily production plans while meeting quality standards and scheduled completion dates.
Follow work orders, written specifications, and verbal instructions throughout the manufacturing process.
Maintain accurate production records, training documentation, and required paperwork.
Identify and troubleshoot routine assembly or production issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Follow applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA quality requirements, and ISO standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to resolve production issues and maintain product quality.
Identify opportunities to improve production methods, equipment performance, workflow, and efficiency.
Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Learn equipment operations and work procedures, and assist in training new team members as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
0–2 years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records, and meet production deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment involving repetitive assembly tasks and prolonged standing.
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as medical devices, healthcare products, or other FDA- or ISO-regulated industries.
Familiarity with standard operating procedures, quality documentation, or Good Manufacturing Practices.
Ability to stand for approximately 80% of the workday.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
Ability to repeatedly handle and maneuver assembly components by hand.
Ability to bend, kneel, reach above shoulder height and below the waist, and sit as required to complete production tasks.
Ability to perform repetitive assembly activities while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
This position is based in a hands-on hardware manufacturing environment. Team members work toward daily, monthly, and quarterly production objectives, with an emphasis on quality, safety, continuous improvement, and on-time completion of work orders.
