Production Workers
Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has openings for Production Associates in Largo, FL! Wages start out at $17.00 per hour.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist fellow team members in making a high quality product, free of defects, to fulfill customers’ needs and expectations
- While working with a qualified trainer, learn all the basic level tasks including how to operate all machines, (dielectric welder, cutting table, parapets, etc.) and all procedures
- Accurately complete all required production paperwork
- Attend and participate in scheduled Company meetings including all plant, production, and safety meetings
- Keep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done
- Must have the ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check
- Bend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds
- Available to work up to a 12-hour shift and weekends when necessary
- Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired
