This position is primarily responsible for performing finishing operations to machined parts. They will use various hand and power tools to remove burrs and excess braze and polish parts to conform to quality standards. They will be responsible for following all safety standards and wear proper PPE. This job requires some computer skills and good communication skills.

All work will take place in an industrial atmosphere and is hands on and onsite.

Location:

• This position is currently located in Hampton, NH, but the facility will be relocating to Durham, NH in 2025

Compensation:

• $1,500 Sign on Bonus*

• Eligible for Annual Increases

1st Shift Schedule:

• This position is for 1st shift.

• Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM

• Overtime available on a business need basis

What You Will Do:

• You will demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools.

• You will accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.

• You will be responsible for quality product standards with no defects.

• You will ensure creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.

• You will comply with applicable elements of quality systems.

• You will participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required.

• You will participate in audits.

• You will acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.

• You will maintain materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition.

• You will comply with all rules and regulations of RTX, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety,

Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources.

• You will examine methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required.

• You will report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.

• You will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a HS diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience required.
