Candidate position is for a Production Specialist in B08 fabrication facility in Goleta, California. The position is for production work conducted inside a clean room lab with full gown suits, ESD straps, microscope use and with frequent use of computer Microsoft Office applications.

*2nd Shift – 12:00PM – 8:30PM – Goleta, CA. This position is an onsite role. *

What you will do:

  • Working with adhesives, solvents, and/or paint

  • Handling small parts and assemblies

  • Wearing a cleanroom gown, smock, and/or an ESD strap

  • Operating and troubleshooting complex equipment

  • Reading and following specific work instructions and procedures

  • Reading and responding to messages in Outlook/Teams in a timely manner

  • Recording and reporting work done in an MES system

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of experience working in a professional environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience using microscopes and manipulating objects while looking through them

  • Experience painting small components

  • Experience using tweezers on small components

The hourly range for this role is $15.38 to $30.77. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
