Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Job Summary

As a Production Associate on our 2nd shift, you will set up, adjust, and operate semi-automated printing machines to produce high-quality promotional products. You will inspect items for quality, package finished goods, and prepare orders for shipment to our customers. Working under the direction of the Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our production workflow—helping us fulfill customer orders accurately, safely, and on time.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Safety is always the #1 priority
  • Set up, adjust, and efficiently operate semi-automated printing machines
  • Examine product for ink smears, design position, print clarity, color accuracy, and other defects; adjust equipment accordingly
  • Measure, center, align, and position screens for proper operation
  • Ensure the proper supplies are being used for printing
  • Ensure orders are printed according to specifications (quality, accuracy, and layout)
  • Package finished products for shipping, ensuring only the best products reach our customers
  • Change tooling to accommodate the product being printed
  • Monitor pre- and post-production processes for quality standards
  • Monitor automatic feeding systems for best efficiencies
  • Perform preventive maintenance duties on assigned equipment
  • Assist in identifying issues and improving the efficiency of the operation
  • Reach and, when possible, exceed production goal.
  • Support the on-time shipping KPI by producing orders in a timely fashion
  • Operate a scale and apply simple math as needed
  • Organize workload effectively and work with a strong sense of urgency
  • Read and write English and follow verbal instructions
  • Work shifts and overtime as scheduled and/or required to meet business timelines

Additional Responsibilities

  • Full understanding of how to operate machines safely and the proper steps to take in case of an emergency
  • Effectively communicate mechanical problems to the Facilitator or Supervisor
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and a clean, neat work area
  • Maintain effective working relationships with other Associates
  • Actively participate in and support teamwork and continuous process improvement
  • Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to quality
  • Reach, bend, twist, push, pull, grasp, sit, or stand for extended periods, and freely move about the facility as needed for the position

Qualifications / Skills

  • Education: High School Diploma / GED equivalent, or reading, writing, and math skills of the same level
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team-player mindset, well organized, and driven to make a positive impact
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail
