Job Summary:

The Production Associate is responsible for preparing computers and similar devices for testing, as well as removing computers from the test benches after testing is completed and placing them on the specific pallet or in a container. This role is detail-oriented and focused on the safe, efficient, and timely processing of material to meet department goals/objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Accurately place computers on test bench. 
  • Start computer and observe booting process. 
  • Scan information about booting sequence in database/test application 
  • Remove computers from the benches after test is complete.
  • Sort computers and place in designated bin based on the test outcome. 
  • Package computers and prepare for shipments to customers
  • Meeting and/or exceeding department goals focusing on safe, detailed, and efficient work.
  • Follows all safety guidelines including PPE, proper lifting techniques, security, R2/ISO/OSHA, and fire safety requirements.
  • Performing general upkeep and maintenance of the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Previous work experience in warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • Must have a basic understanding of computers (laptop, desktop, make, model, components, etc.).
  • Must be able to lift/pull objects up to 35 pounds and stand/move for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Must be detail orientated, accurate, self-motivated and goal driven
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Prolonged periods of standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds at times. 
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the company’s facilities. 

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 1 – 2 years working in a warehouse or similar environment.
