Job Overview:

    Our client manufactures nicotine pouch products in a clean, fast-paced production environment. This is more than just operating a machine—we're looking for dependable individuals who take pride in producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.

    As a Production Operator, you will manufacture and package nicotine pouch products while following strict safety, quality, and production standards. Whether assigned to Pouch Making or Packaging, you'll play an important role in delivering products that meet customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate production equipment while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
    • Meet hourly and daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
    • Perform equipment inspections before, during, and after production.
    • Accurately complete production documentation in real time.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
    • Identify and report equipment, quality, or safety concerns immediately.
    • Assist with equipment changeovers, cleaning, and routine production tasks.
    • Cross-train in multiple production areas as needed.

    Pouch Making Duties

    • Set up and operate moist pouch-making equipment.
    • Load raw materials according to production specifications.
    • Monitor machine performance and make approved operating adjustments.
    • Perform quality checks, including pouch weight, seal integrity, moisture, dimensions, and appearance.
    • Remove defective products from the production line.
    • Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.

    Packaging Duties

    • Operate packaging equipment, including filling, counting, capping, labeling, coding, shrink wrapping, and case packing.
    • Verify labels, lot numbers, expiration dates, and packaging materials before production.
    • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure packaging accuracy.
    • Remove damaged or nonconforming products from the production line.
    • Package finished products according to production specifications.
    • Assist with line clearances and product changeovers.
