About the Role:
We are looking for hardworking, reliable Production Associates to join our plastics manufacturing team in Clinton, NC. In this hands-on role, you will work at the back end of our continuous plastic strapping extrusion line—pulling finished coils, cutting bundles, clearing materials, and keeping the packaging process moving smoothly.
This is a physical, fast-paced role in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing environment. No prior certifications are required; we provide full on-the-job training!
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and manage the end-of-line coiling and bundling machines.
- Doff finished coils of plastic strapping from reels, cut, tape, tag, and place them onto conveyors.
- Assist with line start-ups, material feeds, and change-overs using basic hand tools.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Note: Strong performers have a clear, fast path to permanent hire and growth across the facility.
Schedule & Environment:
- Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Overnight 12-hour shifts).
- Rotation: 2-2-3 schedule (Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days—including alternating weekends—then repeat). You alternate between 36-hour and 48-hour weeks, giving you built-in overtime and extended time off.
- Environment: Non-climate-controlled, heavy industrial plant floor (warm/hot environment with fans, heavy machinery noise).
What We Are Looking For:
- Reliability: Exceptional attendance and a dependable work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, move, and stay engaged for a full 12-hour shift.
- Coordination: Fast, hands-on capability to keep pace with a continuous machine line.
- Ready for Nights: Comfortable working overnight hours and managing a rotating schedule.
- Experience: Prior warehouse, general labor, or production line experience is a plus, but a great attitude and strong work ethic matter most.
Why Join Us?
- Fast-Track Raise: Start at $14–$16/hr. with an automatic increase after completing 450 hours on your way to permanent hire.
- Built-In Overtime: Automatically built into your 48-hour weeks.
- Work-Life Balance: Alternating weekends off and consistent multi-day breaks every month.
