Job Overview

We are hiring Night Shift Production Associates for a steel manufacturing facility in Clinton, NC. This position involves supporting daily production operations, handling steel products, and packaging finished materials.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suited for individuals who are dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working overnight shifts in an industrial environment. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily steel production and manufacturing operations.

• Monitor production line weights and ensure products meet specifications.

• Perform manual binding of steel coils and finished products.

• Package, organize, and prepare finished steel products for shipment.

• Lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to approximately 100 lbs.

• Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labor experience is preferred.

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout a 12-hour shift.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to approximately 100 lbs.

• Comfortable working in a hot industrial manufacturing environment.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Willingness to work overnight shifts and occasional Fridays.

Compensation & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $15.00/hour, including night shift differential.

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday.

• Shift Hours: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

• Hours: 48 hours per week, with occasional Friday shifts as needed.

• Employment: Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for direct employment after 450 hours.

Physical & Work Environment

• Heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

• Frequent standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling.

• Repetitive production activities.

• Exposure to high temperatures in certain production areas.

• Steel-toe boots are required. Other necessary protective equipment will be provided.
