The PURIS Production Administrative Assistant is responsible for serving as the point of contact for PURIS Harrold location, as well as help support the Logistics Team. A high quality of customer service and team support will contribute to achieving department goals. Safety is our #1 priority, therefore everyone in the supply chain department must adhere to all safety policies with regard to Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices. 


Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Pay Frequency: Biweekly

Travel: None

The hourly rate for this role will be based on qualifications, experience, market data, and internal equity. Actual pay may vary due to factors such as location, skills, education, and performance. Pay is determined transparently, using market benchmarks and ensuring internal equity.  


This is not a desk-only position and requires regular presence in the facility to perform hands-on operational work outdoors, including manual labor. Physical requirements are listed below. 


Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Manages all bin levels (Raw, FP & Bi products) and works with logistics to ensure truck schedules are met
  • Manages all plant supplies and compile month end inventory reporting
  • Responsible for accurate and timely data entry for Production Operations.
  • Responsible for coordination of new hire orientation, as well as staff training.
  • Provides Support to the Office Coordinator and Quality Tech to ensure continuity of knowledge and processes for Production Operations.
  • Assists in sample collection and grading of raw and finished product samples, including probing inbound trucks.
  • Assists in Food safety and safety audits of the facility
  • Assists in Scaling trucks and data entry
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • GED or high school diploma preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced office environment preferred
  • Experienced in MS office
  • Effective communicator and via phone, email, and in-person
  • Must possess a high level of organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively in teams as well as individually
  • Must be able to multi-task and have a great attention to detail
  • Ability to collect, analyze, compile, interpret and distribute various reports

Additional Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed  
  • Ability to push, pull, squat, kneel, or twist as needed during shift 
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions consistently and safely 
  • Will have limited exposure to temperature & environmental extremes from hot to cold, noise, dust, dirt and chemicals
  • Must have the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time working on the computer.
