Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Product Security Senior Manager (Level L) to join the Product Security Engineering (PSE) team in North Charleston, SC.

In this role, you will serve as the PSE Engineering Leader, overseeing functional responsibilities and supporting the 787 Program. Reporting to the Engineering Director of BCA PSE, you will be a key member of the BCA PSE Leadership team. You will work closely with program and project leadership to ensure successful integration, planning, and execution of PSE activities across multiple introductory, new and legacy Airplane Programs, driving engineering excellence and first-time quality.

The successful candidate will help shape and implement our shared PSE vision and priorities, focused on delivering safe, secure, and resilient commercial airplane products and supporting the broader aviation ecosystem. This will be achieved through effective planning, integration of PSE processes, and leading a dedicated PSE workforce committed to engineering excellence. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong PSE functional capability team within Boeing South Carolina.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers developing, implementing, and sustaining product security and resiliency throughout the product requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle

  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.

  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

  • 14+ years of engineering leadership experience

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security and/or cybersecurity

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering project planning or project management

  • Ability to build and deliver executive level presentations and coordinate and drive tasks and actions with senior managers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • ABET accredited Degree

  • At least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Experience providing technical leadership to cross functional engineering teams

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Summary Pay Range: $204,000 - $276,000
