SUMMARY: Contribute to the strategic direction for a product line or group of product lines based upon information from market research, sales team input, customer input, conducting competitive and market analysis of the markets or product lines. This role will coordinate the development and execution of the product roadmap by delivering product requirements and how it fits within our sales objectives and product portfolio. You will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies to drive the development, adoption, and success of our products. This role will take direction from Product Management and Marketing while working closely with Engineering & Sales leadership to execute the development of products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Analyze market data to identify market opportunities that align with the strategic objectives of the business.
- Identifies and conducts various forms of market research, including VOC (Voice of Customer).
- Keeps Stakeholders abreast of these trends and their implications.
- Develop, maintain, and manage product road map.
- Champions early stages of Stage Gate process (Business Case)
- Leads product planning initiatives.
- Leads pre-production project management initiatives to support timely product launches and incorporate early VOC into current and future product plans.
- Identify product requirements and specifications with Engineering Leadership.
- Recommends changes, improvements, or deletions in current product portfolio through product lifecycle initiatives.
- Identify new opportunities for further expansion of product portfolio within or outside our current markets/customers.
- Attend/represent Fast Global Solutions at events.
- Collaborate w/Stakeholders on initiatives (product portfolio, product requirements, product specifications, opportunities, and customer engagement).
- Proactively identify new partners/relationships to drive technology advancements for new products or features
- Drive product awareness and thought leadership through coordination in industry events, webinars, and speaking engagements
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches
- Shape the feature/benefit story around the brand into a compelling competitive advantage
- Champion integrated marketing campaigns with the sales team across various channels, including digital, social, email and events.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA preferred), with 5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, or sales. Technical aptitude is essential.
- Skills: Strong ability to analyze market trends, interpret data, and communicate insights effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and knowledge of tools like Smartsheet and Canva is preferred.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills for presenting to diverse stakeholders.
- Reasoning & Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex, variable-driven problems and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
