Job Overview:

The Role:

The Product Management Intern will work closely with the Product Management team, Product Marketing, Engineering, and other operational leaders to help shape the solutions of the future for iA’s industry-leading robotics-driven fulfillment platform. This role will help align product to strategy, drive customer and market insights into product concepts and roadmaps, and participate in commercial activations including launch planning product lifecycle management, and everything in between. This position will also leverage AI to optimize outcomes and processes.

The iA Intern Program is a 10-week summer internship, running from, Tuesday June 1, 2027, through Friday, August 6, 2027.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a market intelligence resource by monitoring market trends, customers, user, key value criteria, clinical practices, regulations, and policy to ensure continued strategic fit.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market needs, user personas, and how to design and position the value of solutions for different target personas.
  • Research and understand the competitive landscape, including competitive product offerings and positioning todevelop a competitive comparison guide for use by our customer-facing teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales on product roadmaps and key points of value for our customers.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to design differentiated product solutions.
  • Support financial analysis and modeling for new business models.
  • Build business case templates for initiatives and work closely with Product Managers. Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and leadership to gather feedback and refine the work.
  • Understand and document the Jobs To Be Done by our user personas to understand where automation could improve outcomes.
  • Work closely with Product Management to prioritize and establish new product features in both hardware and software products by writing clear product requirements. 
  • Partner with Product Marketing teams on launches of net-new features and releases of existing products, including managing cross-functional implementation of the launch plan.

Who you are:

  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree (MBA preferred)
  • Prior internship, coursework, or project experience showing initiative (e.g., a class project, hackathon, personal app, case competition)
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Basic data literacy — comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets, can read a dashboard or simple SQL query results
  • Analytical/problem-solving mindset — breaks down ambiguous problems into structured pieces
  • Basic familiarity with product tools (Jira, Asana, Notion, Figma, or similar) — nice to have, not mandatory
  • Comfortable utilizing AI tools such as Claude

 Compensation:

 The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18 to $26 per hour, though a candidate's hourly rate shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
