Job Summary:

The Product Engineer is responsible for the design, development, manufacturing support, and long term sustainment of high-voltage interconnects or energetic devices. This role owns products throughout their full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, MIL AERO standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing objectives. The Product Engineer partners cross functionally with design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers to deliver reliable, producible, and cost-effective products while driving continuous improvement in performance, yield, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and validate high-voltage interconnects or energetic devices in accordance with industry standards or customer requirements.

  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring designs are optimized for manufacturability, testability, reliability, and cost.

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to support efficient, repeatable, and high‑quality production in a regulated environment.

  • Act as the technical owner for sustaining engineering activities, including investigation of field, production, and quality issues; root cause analysis; and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Support supplier qualification, part obsolescence mitigation, and material changes to ensure long‑term product availability and compliance.

  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, routings, work instructions, and change documentation.

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, test, and customers throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Participate in failure analysis, reliability improvements, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 2-5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

  • Proficient in the use of SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software

  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen preferred

  • Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 preferred

Salary Range:

$72,800.00-$97,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
