Job Description:
Product Engineer positions offered by Jabil Inc. (Florence, Kentucky). Ensure requested engineering changes are properly evaluated and risk mitigated, including evaluating risks during production, creating engineering actions to mitigate risks, and validating risks have been eliminated. Establish routine meetings to review current ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), MCNs (Manufacturing Change Notices), and PCNs (Process Change Notes). Communicate with users by obtaining technical information, such as BOM, Gerber file, CRD file, AVL, and Dispositions, to perform engineering BOM (Bill of Materials) comparisons. Draft ECN cover notes after receipt of user ECNs. Compare AVL/AML changes, draft ECN for systems, including AVL/AML updates, and coordinate ECN activities. Verify user documents are attached to the ECN and logged on to the DCC. Verify ECNs during the assembly function, ensuring engineering revisions match revisions made to the BOM. Initiate a detailed ECN change form (engineering/manufacturing adds, deletes and changes), and monitor the running change ECN implementation status within a Workcell.
