Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist I to join our team in Grantsburg, WI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our supply chain operations, ensuring that we procure high-quality materials and services at the best possible prices. Responsibilities

• Request quotes for items in MRP or requested by Engineering or other Depts
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Knowledge of MRP systems.
• Process purchase orders as required to achieve production schedules.
• Resolve issues with delivery, pricing, invoicing and quality.
• Perform other tasks as required to support the needs of the business.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.

• 5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position works a 9/80 work schedule, with alternating Fridays off. 26 more days off during the year!

You should be proficient in:

• Sourcing and Procurement Experience
• AS9100 Experience

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
