Background & Purpose of the Job

Supervise and instruct team

The Processing Cell Leader well develop and lead the Processing team to deliver all safety, quality, and performance standards of the area. Responsible for staffing, payroll, hiring/termination recommendations, and accountability to all Jonesboro policy and procedures. Communicates with planning and scheduling to manage schedule changes and raw material inventory.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

You’re a born leader: Ensure employees follow all Unilever safety, quality, hygiene and environmental standards throughout the weighing, batching and cleaning process. Maintain and develop reporting systems for area utilization while engaging team members in the process. Partner with Quality, Planning and R&D to deliver improvement and cost savings.

You’re a strategy guru: Collaborate with strategic planning to develop a long- term capacity plan. Partner with Engineering to optimize throughput and identify capex needs. Use/create digital tools for area optimization and visualization. Continuous improvement of processes through WCM methodology to reduce costs, improve quality and increase the safety of the Processing team.

You’re a teacher: Manage all aspects of technical skill development for all personnel working in the Processing cell responsible for producing quality product in a safe manner.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or other related fields or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ year of leadership, preferred

  • Strong Analytical & technical thought process

  • Excellent oral, written communication, and effective interpersonal skills

  • Able to complete occasional and typically domestic travel destinations, less than 5%, as needed for training
