Responsibilities:

Create, develop, plan, and manage new process technology projects.

Focus on improving pilot scale capabilities with an emphasis on continuous processes.

Provide an interface between technology, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Create detailed design work and engineering plans for new processes, with an emphasis on health, safety, and environment (HSE) aspects.

Prepare cost estimates and justifications for new technology projects.

Collaborate with engineering, research, and development teams to support, train, and problem-solve.

Investigate opportunities to improve safety, risk management, efficiency, sustainability, and performance of existing processes and systems, either independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience with industrial chemical processes is highly desirable.

AutoCAD or other CAD experience is desired.

Chemical research and development laboratory experience.

Experience with industrial automation.

Experience in Operational Excellence concepts is desired.
