Photronics Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Technician II to support manufacturing operations in our high-technology photomask facility. This position is ideal for a technically skilled individual who thrives in a fast-paced cleanroom environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.

Position Summary

The Process Technician II is responsible for supporting and sustaining photomask manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are met. This role partners closely with Process Engineers, Equipment Engineers, and Manufacturing Technicians to monitor process stability, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing process operations to ensure stable and repeatable performance

  • Monitor process metrics, SPC charts, and production data to identify trends or deviations

  • Assist in troubleshooting process-related issues and support root cause analysis

  • Execute process qualifications, experiments, and engineering change requests

  • Document findings and maintain accurate process documentation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve yield, cycle time, and overall performance

  • Support new product introductions and process transfers

  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols

Qualifications / Skills / Attributes

  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical thinking

  • Working knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) preferred

  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and process flows

  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing or technical processes

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineering and operations teams

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Manufacturing, or related field preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • 3–5 years of manufacturing or technical process experience required

  • Semiconductor or cleanroom experience preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Semiconductor cleanroom manufacturing environment

  • Required use of cleanroom attire and protective equipment

  • Frequent standing and movement within production areas

  • Use of computer systems and manufacturing software

  • May require lifting up to 25 pounds
