2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

The Process Maintenance Technician has direct involvement with model changes, setup verification, preventative maintenance of equipment, quality testing, cleaning, and repair of machines.

The technician is responsible to ensure timely model changes as needed and preventative maintenance tasks are completed as scheduled, accurately and on time. Verification of completed maintenance workorders.

Because the Process Maintenance Technician has specialized knowledge and expertise, they must be willing to mentor and assist in training others.

Key Duties

• Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance.
• Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always Doing the right thing for our customers.
• Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member
• Routine maintenance of equipment and accessories including testing, measuring disassembles, cleaning, reassembles as needed utilizing detailed engineering drawings, work instructions, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and collaborate with team members to determine root cause analysis
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as Tensile testing machine, scales, venires, dial indicators, micrometer together with shop mathematics and pertinent formulas.
• Use various types of tools
• Utilize maintenance software to create work orders, issue out spare parts and keep accurate records of tasks.
• Perform process troubleshooting and perform machine adjustment to assist the production department with processing of quality parts.
• Work well with a team and be prepared to work cross functionally with multiple skilled trade personnel, production personnel and management.
• Support Group Leads & Supervisors with issues that may arise that directly impact OEE.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Understanding of industrial automated equipment HMI, processes, controls, etc.
• Experience with electronics, pneumatics, electrical.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and vendors in diagnosing maintenance and safety related problems.
• Previous experience in the troubleshooting and repair of Manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to lead in a team-based environment where problem-solving and employee empowerment are keys to success.
• 2+ years working in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years mechanical experience
• Operational knowledge of tool room equipment
• Experience with standard hand tools
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Associates Degree or High School Diploma and relevant experience required.
• Interest in continuing education through training courses and other post-secondary education.

Physical Requirement:

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Travel Requirement:

· Travel is required but minimal

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base pay offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for additional benefits to the base pay range listed above.
