Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Process Technicians for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturer in **Valdosta, Ga. **This position is ideal for candidates with extensive plastics manufacturing experience who excel at troubleshooting processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining high-quality production standards.

The successful candidate will be safety-focused, mechanically inclined, coachable, and committed to continuous improvement while working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Start up, monitor, and optimize production equipment
• Troubleshoot machine, process, material, and quality issues
• Perform process adjustments to improve efficiency and product quality
• Conduct test runs and verify machine performance
• Support machine changeovers and insert changes
• Collaborate with operators, material handlers, maintenance personnel, and supervisors
• Identify equipment issues and recommend repairs or replacement parts
• Assist with reducing downtime, scrap, and production bottlenecks
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance and process adjustments
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards

Schedule & Pay

• Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour, based on experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
• Employment Type: Direct Hire

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years of plastics manufacturing experience
• Previous experience as a Process Technician, Molding Technician, Setup Technician, or similar role
• Experience troubleshooting molding machines and manufacturing processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of machine startup procedures, process adjustments, and production optimization
• Experience identifying and resolving quality concerns
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Adaptable, coachable, and willing to learn new processes and technologies
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment components weighing up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment
