Pay rate: $30.00 to $35.00 + Shift Differential
Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 5 to 6 days a week
POSITION SUMMARY
Maintains machines and equipment to ensure they are running to the documented process in the PPM.
Work as part of a team having responsibility for identifying and correcting conditions that affect employee safety.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
1. Coordinates all machine changeovers as required by communication with appropriate supervisor.
2. Maintains machinery to ensure a safe and productive environment by checking important areas of concerns.
3. Maintains mold and process changes as completed in writing on process sheet, and documents the purposes of any deviation made to the process parameters.
4. Checks all central systems daily using available check sheets.
5. Maintains proper mold and equipment storage using racks provided.
6. Completes sample run of new products as required by Group/Team Leader with Engineering help if needed.
7. Maintains quality specification in ongoing production by following process sheets as documented in PPM.
8. Maintains material and housekeeping at presses as required.
9. Completes daily audits to ensure that all equipment is running within the process parameters as documented in the PPM.
10. Using problem solving methods when a process is out of control.
11. Performs all work tasks as assigned by the TPM program.
12. Follows documented procedure for filling out tool repair form.
13. Anticipates any unsafe acts on equipment and notifies Leadership immediately.
14. Coordinates other jobs as required through the Group or Team Leader.
15. Increases customer satisfaction (internal and external) by participating in identifying customer needs, surveying Customer satisfaction, involving customers in continuous process improvements, etc.
16. Contributes to continuous process improvement by:
• Understanding the concepts of process, process variation, waste identification
• Active involvement of formal & informal process improvements, formal and informal individual suggestions for improvements, etc.
17. All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and additional training such as Associates Degree, Advanced Manufacturing Certificate, or Technical Trade Certification.
Experience: 5 years’ experience in set-up of injection molding equipment. RJG and automation experience is a plus.
