Process Technician – Plastic Injection Molding
Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and driven to solve problems in a hands-on environment? This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a production setting, enjoys improving manufacturing processes, and has the skills to keep machines and tools running smoothly.
This is a direct hire position on 3rd shift
Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7am
Pay based on experience, plus a $2 differential
What You’ll Do:
Adjust machine settings to improve cycle times and reduce scrap
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on production support equipment (e.g., automated loaders, robotic arms)
Maintain accurate process logs and communicate changes across shifts
Start up and shut down molding presses and coordinate handoff for operator assignment
Clean and maintain molds using tools like dry ice blasters and hand tools
Restore functionality and reprogram end-of-arm tooling and robotic systems as needed
Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements
Serve as a backup to the shift supervisor when needed
What You Should Bring:
A strong safety mindset and the ability to follow safety protocols
Familiarity with hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, torque wrenches, etc.)
Comfortable with basic computer skills and entering data into systems
Forklift and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to understand and perform tasks listed on a technical skills checklist
Previous experience in a manufacturing or process technician role is highly preferred
This position is well-suited for someone with a mix of technical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to be actively involved in keeping operations efficient and running at peak performance.
