Description:

The Process Technician takes responsibility for set-up/start-up/troubleshoot/produce our products in our manufacturing plant in Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the photovoltaic module recipe and troubleshooting with the product defect
  • Monitor the implementation of protocols and standard operating procedures
  • Process abnormality analysis/diagnosis improvement/improvement of product quality
  • Participate in the improvement and preparation of documentation
  • Train junior production personnel
  • Support material supplier qualification, material inspection andtesting when needed
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
  • Support ISO 9001 activities
  • Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies
  • Conduct other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical diploma or higher (electrical or mechanical) combined with relevant work experience is preferred.
  • 1+years' experience as atechnician ina high-volume manufacturing environment (withphotovoltaic industrypreferred)
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skill with electrical, mechanical componentspreferred.
  • Ability to solve complicated equipment malfunction independently and with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient with Excel and other applications for data analysis
  • Ability to teach junior staff and to transfer experience through informal presentations and on-the-job training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Expertise with both English & Mandarin preferred)
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision.
