2nd Shift Machine OperatorHours: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMType: Temp to PermLocation: Mesquite, TXPay: $18-$19/hrJOB DESCRIPTIONOperator will run various mixers, dryers, coaters and other equipment to produce oilfield chemicals to customer specification of the highest standard and quality.Operates mixers and dryers to produce oilfield chemicalsInsuring accuracy in measuring and loading the machines with the correct weight of chemicalsOperate the machines and monitor temperatures so that they may run safely and efficiently.Insure proper heating and cooling of the machine and product before, during, and after processing.Maintain machines to make sure it is clean and in good working orderResponsible for changing the filter as neededFollow process formulations and complete required formulation sheets and other documents as neededProperly package product according to customer requirementsMake sure you have read and understand the MSDS on all chemicals used and processed.Ensure sure you have the correct formula card to balance the mixture correctly.Monitor all gauges on equipment for optimum operation and make adjustments as necessaryEnsure accuracy of the batch reports.Follow company policies and procedures regarding all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is required for the product/job.Make sure the area is clean and free of debris.REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.Must adhere to company policies at all timesMust be able to understand and interpret MSDS documentation for safety purposes.Must be able to calibrate a scale and measure accurately.Must wear proper PPE at all timesMust be able to properly utilize lock out/tag out proceduresMust keep the work area clean and orderlyAbility to calculate figures, add, subtract, and multiply.Ability to understand fractions and accurately read measurements.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.Must be reliable/dependableMust have a High School diploma or GedA background and drug screen will be administered
